Homestay in Mukteshwar

Far away from pollution, noise and chaos, our home is nestled in a thick Oak forest of approx. 8,64,000 Sq feet. in a small village in Mukteshwar. It is secludedly located about 350 mts off the road to give you ultimate peace & privacy. Only few deer and birds come to give you company sometime.

It is located in Sunkiya village, a quaint little village with fields, mountain streams and seasonal waterfalls. Not just a homestay, it’s a farm stay nestled in the lap of nature. Stay with us for a glimpse of traditional village life, try your hand at farming, participate in cow milking and adopt our organic way of life for a few days. We have Peach, Plum, Apricot and Apple orchards also in the vicinity. Here time slows down to let you appreciate the little joys of life – waking up to the songs of the birds, watching butterflies dance over flowers, walking along sleepy hamlets, basking with surreal view of terraced fields and gazing at the starts.

You will be welcomed by Puran Singh and his family. They are resident of Sunkiya for centuries. Puran Singh is a simple farmer who along with his wife Veena takes care of the home and the guests. Every nook and corner of Mukteshar is well known to them. He can guide you really well on some local treks and trails. Sit with him over a cup of tea and he will come with enless stories form the hills.

We serve freshly cooked local cuisine and North Indian veg and non-vegetarian food. Most of the vegetables supplied to the kitchen come from our own organic farm. Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha with curd or tea, Sandwich, Butter Toast, Bread Omelette or Puri Bhaji. You would love local herbal tea and pakodas in the evening.
